Good Things Utah’s Jessie Miller came to see Alfie Symes, nurse injector at Utah Facial Plastics, after hearing great things about her natural lip augmentation results. Jessie definitely wanted something subtle, and not obvious, as someone in the public eye.
For natural lip augmentation results, our expert lip injectors typically recommend Volbella, a Juvederm product. It’s a thinner version that is specifically formulated for the lips and the lines around the lips that we often get with aging (smoker’s lines). Volbella is made with hyaluronic acid, which is already in the skin so it’s completely safe. Volbella lasts approximately 1 year following treatment.
Volbella is what Alfie Symes used to give Jessie Miller natural lip augmentation results. She first came to numb for approximately 20 minutes before treatment.
The actual treatment took about 10-15 minutes and then she was given ice pack to place on her lips for another 30 minute or so to help with swelling.
She was very happy with her results and shared this photo on Instagram with the following caption:
“As important as the advice is to never change for anyone else, I think it’s also good advice to never NOT change something because you’re worried what other people will think. If you feel perfect and confident in your own skin then ROCK it. But if you want Botox, filler, surgery, extensions or any other change that makes YOU feel more confident, but are afraid people will judge you or think you’re fake–ignore the haters. I’m all about women empowering women. YOU are perfect just the way you are — but if there’s something you want to change or a little boost that will make YOU feel more like YOU – I’ve got your back! Thank you Alfie Symes and the team at Utah Facial Plastics for making me feel more like ME!”
