Hydrafacial for Skin Health on Fresh Living

KUTV’s Brooke Mangum get a Hydrafacial for skin health on Fresh Living from Utah Facial Plastics.
Caitlin: We are here with some of our favorite people from Utah Facial Plastics. We have Trish and Brittney and Brooke is going to be our guinea pig. Utah Facial Plastics does these amazing Hydrafacials and they are my total go-to. Trish, what is a Hydrafacial?
Tirsh: A Hydrafacial is a medical-grade skin resurfacing treatment. It’s just a little bit more than a facial and a little less than a laser treatment. We’re going to cleanse, we’re going to exfoliate the skin, we’re going to also extract any black heads, then we’re going to infuse some antioxidants into the skin.
Kari: Okay, so what is the difference between a regular facial at a medical spa and this?
Brittney: A Hydrafacial is an advanced facial and the main difference is the delivery technique. It uses the vortex fusion and it pretty much is less harsh extractions and gives you a nice Hydrafacial glow.
Kari: I have to say that out of any service I’ve ever had facial wise, this is the one I notice a difference immediately. It’s kind of cliche but my skin really does glow and I’m usually oily in the t-zone but it just evens it out, it’s amazing.
Caitlin: And I’m the opposite, where my skin is so dry and I go in there feeling like it’s flaking off from being in the sun all the time and I leave feeling so moisturized. It really is good for all skin types. What are the benefits of a Hydrafacial?
Trish: The benefits include hydration, also tone and texture. If you have oily skin you will benefit from it. It also helps with pore size, we don’t like big pores and it helps cut down on oil production. If you tend to have oilier skin it helps. It helps with blemishes as well. If you tend to have to get blemishes extracted it can be painful but the Hydrafacial actually has a vacuum and does that for you. You literally can stop by on your lunch break because it takes a quick thirty minutes.
Brittney: The Hydrafacial special right now is buy one, get one free during the month of September if you mention the segment and then if you head over to our Instagram you can enter to win a free Hydrafacial. For more information, go to www.utahfacialplastics.com or call (801) 776-2220.
