To help your surgeon provide the most accurate recommendations during your virtual consultation, we'll ask you to submit a series of photographs before your appointment. These images allow our team to carefully evaluate your anatomy, better understand your concerns, and determine the most appropriate treatment options, all before you travel to Utah.

If you're considering facial plastic surgery, we'll provide detailed instructions outlining the specific views needed for your evaluation. Patients interested in rhinoplasty may be asked to submit additional photos to allow for a comprehensive assessment of nasal structure and facial balance.

For the best results, we recommend having a friend or family member take the photos for you rather than using a selfie or mirror image. Surgical Scheduling

Once you've decided to move forward, your dedicated Patient Care Coordinator will help you select a surgical date that aligns with your schedule, recovery needs, and travel plans. Surgical availability varies by procedure and surgeon, and we'll work closely with you to find timing that best supports your goals and allows for a smooth recovery experience.

Due to high demand, many procedures are scheduled several months in advance. If you're hoping for an earlier date, we also maintain a cancellation list and may be able to offer expedited availability should an opening arise.

Securing Your Reservation

To reserve your surgical date, a non-refundable deposit equal to 10% of the total surgical fee, or a minimum of $1,000, is required. This deposit is applied toward your procedure cost and allows us to dedicate the necessary operating room time, clinical resources, and personalized planning for your care.

Following your reservation, your Patient Care Coordinator will guide you through each step of the preparation process, ensuring a seamless experience from scheduling through recovery.

As your surgery date approaches, your Patient Care Coordinator will help coordinate all payment arrangements and ensure you have a clear understanding of your financial timeline. The remaining balance for your surgical procedure is due four weeks prior to surgery.

If your procedure is performed at Utah Facial Plastics Surgery Center (UFPSC), facility fees will also be collected at that time. For procedures scheduled at Lakeview Hospital or Lone Peak Hospital, facility and anesthesia fees are billed separately by the hospital and anesthesia provider and are typically collected during the week of surgery.

To make your recovery as seamless as possible, we'll coordinate many of the essentials before your arrival. Prescriptions can be sent to your preferred pharmacy in advance, allowing you to have your medications ready prior to surgery.
