What is SKINVIVE?
SKINVIVE is an innovative first of its-kind hyaluronic acid injectable in the Juvederm Collection that is used to improve skin smoothness of the cheeks. SKINVIVE provides hydration to the skin with a lasting glow for up to 6 months with treatment.
SKINVIVE microdroplet injectable gel is injected into specific areas of facial tissue, softening fine lines and skin imperfections close to the surface of the skin. This dermal filler has shown excellent results for improving creping lines, enlarged pores, and overall skin texture.
How Does SkinVive Work?
SKINVIVE is different from traditional fillers in the Juvederm Collection of fillers. As we age, our skin loses elastin, collagen, and hydration causing the breakdown of structure and formation of lines and volume loss. SKINVIVE utilizes hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring substance in our bodies to bind water molecules and replace lost hydration to our skin. SKINVIVE assists to plump, hydrate, and smooth the skin giving it a more youthful appearance.
SKINVIVE is injected in tiny microdroplets close to the surface of the skin. The microdroplets are spread over the area evenly to produce an overall smoother canvas.
SKINVIVE FAQs
At UFP Aesthetics you can expect your SKINVIVE appointment to last about 30 minutes. We will numb the skin with a topical anesthetic followed by injecting tiny microdroplets into the area of treatment. Redness and swelling are common symptoms following the treatment and can last up to a few days. Bruising can occur but it is rare. SKINVIVE results can last up to 6 months.
