What People are saying about us

"I had profractional laser to help support treatment for a medical condition. Practitioner Katy has been super awesome at setting expectations of potential levels of discomfort during the procedure and how to improve comfort, realistic expectations of post-recovery looks and time frames, and how to best heal after and expedite recovery. Great communication during and after."

Frequently Asked Questions

Laser treatment pricing is determined on a consultation basis, because the right device, depth, settings, and number of sessions vary from patient to patient. Several factors influence your total investment: the device and treatment depth, the area treated, the number of sessions in your plan, and whether devices are combined in a single treatment plan. Insurance does not cover cosmetic laser treatments except in rare medically indicated cases, and financing options are available. A consultation maps the most efficient path to your goals within your budget.

An ablative laser removes outer skin layers to treat deeper wrinkles, while a non-ablative laser stimulates collagen growth without disturbing the top layer of skin. Moxi is a non-ablative option with 1 to 3 days of redness and light flaking. Contour TRL is a full ablative treatment with 10 to 14 days of social downtime. ProFractional sits between them, with 2 to 5 days to look socially presentable. Halo Tribrid combines non-ablative and ablative wavelengths in one session, making it one of the most versatile options for patients who want to address multiple concerns at once.

Choosing the right laser depends on your skin type, the severity of your concerns, how much downtime you can manage, and how well you can avoid sun exposure during recovery. Moxi is best for early signs of aging, mild pigmentation, rough texture, and prevention. BBL HEROic targets redness, brown spots, and sun damage correction. Forever Clear BBL addresses active acne and the redness and inflammation that come with it. Halo Tribrid handles mixed concerns including pigmentation, texture, and deeper lines. ProFractional treats acne scars, surgical scars, surface texture, and enlarged pores. Contour TRL is for deep wrinkles, severe sun damage, and a full structural skin reset. A Fitzpatrick skin-type assessment and damage evaluation at consultation guide the recommendation.

It depends on the device. Moxi is typically 3 treatments spaced about 4 weeks apart, often paired with BBL HEROic, with seasonal maintenance. Forever Clear BBL is typically 3 treatments spaced about 2 to 4 weeks apart depending on severity. BBL HEROic is often 1 session for pigmentation, repeated annually or seasonally. Halo Tribrid is typically 1 to 2 sessions with annual maintenance. ProFractional is typically 2 to 3 sessions spaced 4 to 8 weeks apart for deep scars. Contour TRL is often 1 session, and results can last years.

Lighter, non-ablative treatments involve minimal downtime, and their results are correspondingly lighter. Improvements in tone, radiance, acne, inflammation, and fine lines from Moxi or BBL HEROic have the potential to last 1 to 2 years with consistent sun protection and maintenance sessions. Halo Tribrid results commonly hold for 2 to 3 years or more when followed with annual touch-ups. Full-field resurfacing like Contour TRL can produce improvements lasting several years. Maintenance sessions every 12 to 18 months are recommended for deeper treatments, or annually for lighter and hybrid options.

Most patients describe lighter treatments like Moxi and BBL HEROic as hot prickling or snapping, uncomfortable but manageable. Deeper ablative treatments like Contour TRL feel more intense, closer to a strong sunburn. Topical anesthetic is always applied before treatment and cooling is used throughout. For deeper procedures, nerve blocks or mild sedation may be used.

Late fall through early spring is generally the best window, when sun hours are shorter and patients are more likely to spend time indoors during the healing period. After treatment, sun avoidance is essential, and broad-spectrum sunscreen is recommended year-round. Patients planning a deeper treatment often prefer timing that allows for a recovery window during a quieter stretch of their schedule.

Halo Tribrid, Halo, ProFractional, Contour TRL, NanoLaser Peel, and Micro Peel are performed by nurse practitioners or surgeons. BBL HEROic, Forever Clear BBL, Moxi, Sylfirm X, SkinTyte, and laser hair removal are performed by master estheticians. All laser treatments are provided under the oversight of our Double Board-Certified Facial Plastic Surgeons.
