Mini-facelift information
A mini facelift, or a MACSlift, is typically done in-office under local anesthesia. The primary focus of a MACSlift is to correct moderately loose skin on the neck as well as mild to moderate jowling. Some advantages that come with this type of facelift include long-lasting results, a shorter incision and scar, less cost and no general anesthesia.
A MACSlift is typically recommended at a younger age than a traditional facelift when a patient is in the early stages of experiencing facial laxity. This helps them restore and maintain a youthful face shape. A mini lift can often be viewed as a preventative procedure as it can prolong the need for a potential traditional facelift.
Both Drs. Thompson and Henstrom are well-qualified, experienced surgeons who are performing multiple MACSlift and facelift procedures each and every week. When trusting someone with your face, always choose a facial plastic surgeon. Trust your face to Utah Facial Plastics.
