Facelift Boise, ID

What Is A Facelift?

Aging happens to all of us and over time skin begins to loosen on the face and neck. Genetics, personal lifestyle, sun exposure and gravity contribute to signs of aging. Facelift surgery is a procedure that is done to remove excess skin and tighten the underlying features. Have you considered how facelift also known as rhytidectomy surgery can improve your appearance and confidence?

Utah Facial Plastic's double board-certified facial plastic surgeons perform UFP's Exclusive Deep Plane Facelift near Boise, ID addressing the skin, deep plane, and muscular layers. This extensive procedure treats the cheek or midface area, the jowls or lower face, and neck area. This complete technique is going to provide the most natural and long lasting results leaving patients more fulfilled with natural, long-lasting results.

The Benefits of UFP's Facelift & Necklift Procedure

UFP's qualified surgeons Dr. Thompson, Dr. Henstrom, and Dr. Manning's technique differs from a typical facelift.  The traditional facelift removes only skin and works ok for lifting jowls and tightening loose skin, but it doesn't tend to the underlying tissues and muscles which contribute to overall facial and neck aging as well.

Utah Facial Plastics doctors perform 2 types of facelifts. The full facelift is the procedure of choice for patients who are experiencing concerns in the mid face, lower face, and neck. Often times patients will come in with concerns of their neck and lower face together. Essentially the face and neck are considered one unit and when these areas are showing signs of aging, it is best to address with the deep plane technique for ideal results. UFP's  facelift technique hides the incisions in the natural contours and folds around the ears and hairline, making them difficult to see when fully healed.

The second facelift option would be a MACSlift (mini facelift) and is great for those  primarily concerned with jowling and lower face laxity. This procedure is done in-office under a local anesthetic with about half the recovery time of the standard facelift. The incision runs the same as a facelift but stops at the bottom of the ear and does not address the neck area to the extent of a full facelift.

It is important to consult with one of our face and neck experts to have a thorough exam and discussion of your goals.  This will help to determine the best plan for you and a better understanding of what each procedure will accomplish.
