Beyond our own country there are countless children in need of safe and affordable surgical solutions for this medical conditions. Dr. Thompson is proud to donate his services to medical mission work in Ecuador and Guatemala.
Many people in Ecuador and Guatemala are very poor and have minimal access to medical care. Furthermore, the number of children born with congenital defects is higher in Ecuador than other countries. It is Dr. Thompson’s goal to use his unique skills and talent to improve the quality of life of as many children as possible.
Every year Dr. Thompson travels with the organizations Helping Give Children Smiles, HUGS and Medical Missions for Children to provide hope for children struggling with congenital defects of the face. These defects include cleft palates, nose and ear deformities.
The services we offer help children develop into confident, secure and responsible individuals free from their congenital conditions.
