Utah Facial Plastics Soft Open Information

Hello everybody, Dr. Thompson here. I hope you are doing well, staying safe and enjoying this amazing weather we’re having right now. We’re anticipating opening our office on May 4th and we’re really excited about that. We’re excited to see our patients again and get things going but it will be in somewhat of a limited fashion. And that’s in line with what is being recommended by our local political government officials as well as the health department. That will include seeing a more limited schedule so we’re not seeing as many patients as we’re used to seeing to avoid interactions. We’re going to maximize digital technology via virtual consultations to help limit face to face interaction. We ask that patients wear masks when coming to our office and we’ll be wearing similar protective eye wear and face wear. We are a facial plastics office so a lot of what we deal with is on the face but still understand that we’ll advice to wear masks and vice versa.

Also, to distance our employees from you and each other we’ll be taking extra precautions to wipe down all surfaces and areas that might be exposed to potential contaminates. We also request that if you are feeling ill or you have any symptoms or have any question at all just give us a call and we’ll reschedule your appointment. The last thing we want to do is a be a source for spread of the corona virus. We ask that you take that seriously and reschedule your appointment if there is any question.

With that said, we’re really excited to open again. We’re still not doing a lot of our elective surgical procedures but we’ll start seeing patients on a limited basis in the office. Also, just to let you know that I’ve in communication and collaboration with the other facial plastic surgeons in Utah and we’ve come together to try to establish consistent protocols for our office and we’re all acting in a similar way with regard to this and taking similar precautions. I’m really excited about that and appreciative of my colleagues for instigating this corroboration.

Again, we look forward to seeing you soon. Thank you and please call (801) 776-2220 or contact us HERE with questions or to schedule an appointment.
