Facial Cosmetic Surgery Trends For Brides-To-Be

Looking good for one’s big wedding day has always been important. Extra time in the gym and a timely trip to the hair and nail salon are common ways to get ready for the big day.  But now with the latest advancements in facial cosmetic surgery, brides are taking things to the next level. With so many cosmetic treatments becoming more popular and more affordable, it’s no wonder that brides are taking advantage of facial cosmetic surgery to look and feel their best on their wedding day.

Cosmetic treatments for brides-to-be has become so popular that many refer to it as “Bridalplasty”! Here are the top facial cosmetic procedures for brides:

1) You guessed it…Botox!

Botox is the top cosmetic procedure in the country by far so it’s no wonder that brides-to-be are also big fans. Botox works great to smooth out lines and wrinkles in the forehead and around the eyes (crow’s feet). Many brides love that is can also give the brows a bit of a lift, making one look extra refreshed for the big day.

2) You guessed it again…Dermal Fillers

Where there’s Botox, there’s often a dermal filler. Paired together, they’re dynamite for non-surgical rejuvenation. Many refer to the combination of Botox and fillers as a “Liquid Facelift”or “Lunchtime Facelift” that can be customized to each individual depending on their needs and concerns. Common areas dermal fillers are used are in the folds around the mouth (smile lines), lips, perioral lines (small lines around the lips), under the eyes, and to the mid-face to restore lost volume. There’s no down-time involved, which is perfect for a busy bride!

3) Chemical Peels

Who wouldn’t want a fresh faced glow on one of the most important days of their lives? Yes, it’s only one day but those pictures last forever! The best way to get a beautiful glow is to undergo a series of chemical peels in conjunction with a good at-home skincare regimen.  There are many options available that can be customized to each individual. It’s best to meet with one of our fabulous estheticians to come up with the perfect plan for any bride.

4) Laser Treatments

For more of a one-time skin resurfacing treatment versus a series of peels, brides love our CO2 Fractional Laser. They definitely need to plan ahead for this one as you need a good 7-10 days for the fresh skin to come forward and the old skin to flake off. But once a bride has healed, pigmentation, skintone, and fine lines and wrinkles are greatly improved.

IPL treatments are also great to help with pigmentation and are best done in a package of 3-6 treatments. And who wouldn’t love to not worry about shaving on their honeymoon? No one…which is why laser hair removal is also super popular with brides-to-be.

5) Latisse

For brides who aren’t into lash extensions, Latisse is perfect. It’s best to start at least a few months before the big day so the lashes have time to grow long and thick. There’s no better way to get beautifully natural thick lashes!

6) Rhinoplasty Surgery

This one is slightly more intense than the rest but for any bride that has had concerns about the shape and/or function of their nose, an upcoming wedding may give them the push they need to finally move ahead with surgery. This is one brides need to plan ahead for as there is a few weeks of recovery time and the nose is somewhat swollen for up to a year. About 75% of swelling subsides in the first few months following surgery but it will continue to go down over the course of a year. There are things that can be done to speed up the process but it’s still best to plan months in advance.

From surgery to simple nightly applications of Latisse, there are many facial cosmetic procedures brides look to to help them get ready for their special day. Anything a bride can do to look and feel her best on one of the greatest days of her life is worth it!
