Uma Therman appeared on the Today Show yesterday morning to discuss the facial plastic surgery rumors that caught fire following her appearance on the red carpet last weekend. The “Kill Bill” star looked like her familiar self on the program and attributed her drastic look at the NBC’s The Slap event to nothing more than a change in makeup.
“I guess nobody liked my makeup,” Thurman told Savannah Guthrie. “I mean, I’ve been doing this for years and years and years, and people say things nice and they say things mean.” She later added, “It’s just like whatever.”
Social media outlets dubbed Uma Thurman as the new Renee Zellweger, who stepped out looking drastically different a few months ago. We reported on the situation at that time and agreed her eyelid surgery looked slightly overdone, which took away her distinct look that others recognized her by.
Uma Therman, on the other hand, does not appear to have undergone facial plastic surgery. And if so, it was very subtle and well done. She still looks like herself and any woman will admit they look quite different without makeup…especially if you’re a blond with light lashes.
