What to expect with Kybella from U92 – Day by Day and Swelling

What to expect with Kybella from U92.

Drake has admitted to liking his women a little bit fuller but I don’t think he meant under the chin.

So I did my first treatment of Kybella last week and Kybella is an injectable that dissolves all the fat cells underneath your chin. I know that sounds too good to be true. It reminds me of that scene from Mean Girls…”It burns up your carbs”. But it’s true, it literally gets all the fat cells underneath your chin and it’s permanent so it stays like that forever.

So there is Alfie applying this temporary tattoo of where to inject. And here we’re starting the injections. I think it’s about 10 to 20 pricks. They use a really tiny needle and it’s not too painful. After the treatment, definitely be prepared for some swelling.

Kybella Day by Day

I would highly recommend doing Kybella on a Friday and maybe even taking a long weekend. Honestly, everyone is different. But here is what happened with my swelling. On day three it had gone down a ton. I’m not gonna lie to you, the swelling is not cute. But I have to keep reminding myself that it’s two weeks of swelling for a lifetime of no double chin. I’ve been told I probably won’t see super noticeable results until my second or third treatment. They have to be done four weeks apart so when that happens I will be back to give an update and I will see you then.

Kybella Recovery

Kybella treatments take approximately 20 minutes in the office and topical numbing can be applied 30 minutes prior to help with any discomfort with injections. The number of treatments recommended for each person varies but typically ranges between 2 and 6. Treatments are spaced 4-6 weeks apart to allow time for swelling to go down and fat to be absorbed by the body.

The Cost of Kybella

The cost for each treatment is $850 (before any discounts or specials) and includes two vials.
