What Restylane products are available?
There are a number of Restylane dermal fillers for different areas of the face. All of them are made of hyaluronic acid, which is naturally find in the skin and completely safe. Overtime, HA is broken down by the body so results are not permanent and can be reversed if a patient decides they do not like the outcome.
Restylane ($550)
Restylane has been used for many years in different areas of the face, most commonly the folds around the mouth, corners of the mouth, marionette lines, and under the eyes to fill in tear troughs. This is the area our injectors use Restylane the most as it fills in that under-eye hollowing without as much swelling as other products on the market.
Restylane Silk ($600)
Restylane Silk is a thinner formulation of Restylane and is designed for the fine lines around the mouth (smoker’s lines) and in the lips for subtle augmentation. It can also be used to fill in other superficial lines lines in the face, often around the eyes.
Restylane Lyft ($600)
Restylane Lyft is a thicker formulation of Restylane and specifically designed to lift the mid-face and cheek area. Lyft is unjected deeper into the skin, almost right on the cheek bone, to restore lost volume and provide subtle augmentation.
Restylane Refyne & Defyne ($650 each)
Two new Restylane products were introduced after FDA approval in December of 2016 and are their “next-generation” hyaluronic acid dermal fillers. Refyne and Defyne utilize XpresHAn Technology that provides a more natural looking result while maintaining your facial expressions. Your face will still look completely natural when smiling, frowning and even puckering up.
Refyne is used for mold to moderate facial wrinkles, such as the nasolabial folds. Defyne is formuluated for moderate to severe folds and wrinkles in the face. Both products last up to 12 months.
