Dr. Scott K. Thompson is a double board-certified facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon and a board-certified specialist in otolaryngology–head and neck surgery, serving patients in Salt Lake City, Draper, Layton, and Heber City, Utah. With over 15 years of experience, he completed a highly competitive facial plastic surgery fellowship and advanced training in hair restoration.

His training includes work at the University of Rochester under Dr. Timothy Doerr, a leader in facial reconstruction and trauma, as well as a prestigious fellowship with world-renowned facial plastic surgeon and former American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery president, Dr. Vito Quatela. Dr. Thompson is also ISHRS fellowship-trained in hair restoration surgery.

Dr. Thompson’s practice is dedicated exclusively to the face, head, and neck, allowing for a specialized and comprehensive approach to both aesthetic and reconstructive care. His expertise includes facelift surgery, rhinoplasty, blepharoplasty, otoplasty, and hair restoration. With a background in fine arts, he combines surgical precision with an artistic eye to deliver natural, balanced results.

He also emphasizes preventative and minimally invasive treatments to support long-term skin health and facial harmony. His philosophy of care is rooted in honesty, ethics, and compassion—earning the trust of patients throughout Utah and beyond.

A respected educator in the field, Dr. Thompson has received numerous awards and authored multiple scholarly publications. He also participates in annual medical missions to Ecuador, providing care for children with congenital deformities.

Dr. Thompson lives in Northern Utah with his wife and four children. He enjoys backpacking, basketball, gardening, playing the piano, and spending time with his family. He currently serves on the Davis County Medical Society board and is a former President.
