What is Restylane Lyft?

Just like Restylane, Restylane Lyft is a clear gel formulation of hyaluronic acid that is specifically formulated to act like your body’s own hyaluronic acid, adding volume and fullness to the skin. What makes Restylane Lyft different from Restylane is the average size of the particles and depth of the injection, which means it’s a better choice for the mid-face to restore volume loss and also works well to restore deep folds around the mouth.

Where is Restylane Lyft used?

The nasolabial folds (deep lines around the mouth or “Parentheses”) and the mid-face (cheek area) are commonly treated with Restylane Lyft to restore volume. Determining whether or not Restylane Lift is right for you for your nasolabial folds or other wrinkles in the face it done with one of our providers at your initial consultation.

What should I expect with my Restylane Lift treatment?

Once you are determined to be a good candidate for Restylane Lyft, a topical numbing cream is applied to minimize pain and discomfort. There is also an option available that contains lidocaine to help with that as well. The actual treatment takes about 15 minutes and results are instant. Many patients notice continued improvement for up to 1 week as the area smooths and injection sites heal.

What should I expect following my Restylane Lyft treatment?

An ice pack is given to take with you and apply to injection site(s) for a brief period of time to reduce the chance of bruising and swelling, which can occur. Other side effects make include redness, pain, and tenderness and are typically mild and resolve in less than 7 days in nasolabial folds.
