Laser Skin Resurfacing

Introduction

Utah Facial Plastics offers a variety of Skin Resurfacing procedures to treat multiple skin concerns, such as scarring, sunspots, age spots, fine lines, wrinkles, skin laxity and to improve the overall look and health of the skin. Fractional CO2 laser resurfacing has been the most aggressive method over the years for diminishing imperfections on the skin’s surface. There are several modalities in the medical spa industry that are used for laser resurfacing and Utah Facial Plastics has incorporated some of the best technologies when it comes to skin rejuvenation.

Fractional and Pro-Fractional Laser Resurfacing

When is comes to fractional and pro-fractional laser resurfacing,  Utah Facial Plastics has some of the top technologies for resurfacing including Sciton's Halo, Contour TRL, and NanoPeel treatments.  Unlike traditional CO2 laser resurfacing, Sciton's treatments are much more customizeable.  With the variety of options, treatments can be customized to the patients skin type, specific concerns, as well as powerful results are achieved without the traditionally harsh side effects of traditional laser resurfacing. The complication rate is considerably lower with a shorter length of downtime.

NanoLaserPeel ™

This erbium laser technology uses light energy to remove the top layers of the skin and encourages the skin’s renewal process to build new skin cells.  This treatment is considered a light resurfacing treatment, up to 4x stronger than a microdermabrasion treatment has to offer. It is great for treating mild to moderate skin conditions.

MOXI lASER BY SCITON

Moxi gentle fractionated laser technology is a light resurfacing treatment for prejuvenative or early signs of skin damage. The newest resurfacing modality in the Sciton family is great for those who want to maintain healthy skin and delay advances in aging.  Moxi treats superficial skin texture and tone, delivering radiance and softer skin.

Halo ™ – Hybrid Fractional Laser

The world’s first Hybrid Fractional resurfacing laser treatment uses non-ablative and ablative wavelengths to address both the epidermis and dermis layers of the skin. It gives similar results to a traditional CO2 laser resurfacing treatment with more comfort and less downtime. The Halo treatment can be customized for any skin type.

Contour TRL ™

From superficial to deeper peels, this unique resurfacing device can address mild skin issues to full face resurfacing. Similar to CO2 laser resurfacing, Contour TRL can be our most aggressive resurfacing option allowing more control by the technician when dealing with ablation and coagulation. This allows for a safer treatment and less risk for complications during healing. This can be done as a stand-alone treatment or done in conjunction with a Facelift for full face rejuvenation.

BBL® BroadBand Light/ BBL Hero

Known as the most powerful IPL device on the market, BBL Hero uses a broad range of light wavelengths to target several skin discoloration conditions as well changing the way the skin ages for long-lasting rejuvenation. From pigment, vascular lesions, and redness it can be used as a standalone treatment or combined with one of our laser resurfacing treatments for an overall improvement of skin tone and texture.

Morpheus8

This ground-breaking technology uses radio frequency and micro-needling therapy to remodel adipose and skin tissues, increasing skin turnover and collagen production to achieve a contoured appearance. It can be customized to treat mild to moderate skin texture concerns like fine lines, pore size, scarring, skin tone, and skin laxity for firmer healthier skin
